Golf season is in full swing. The annual Greene County Chamber of Commerce golf outing will be held Friday, July 31, at the Jefferson Community Golf Course.
Team registration forms are available at the Chamber office at 220 N Chestnut in Jefferson and is available to all Chamber members. Deadline for team registration is July 30. Chamber members who cannot participate in the event but would still like to be involved can contact the Chamber at 515-386-2155 to learn about sponsoring a hole or donating prizes.
Registration at the best ball event will begin at 10:15 am with a shotgun start 11. Lunch will be available and dinner will be served. “A number of prizes will be available, so be sure to get signed up and get ready for a fun day of golf and good times in Greene County,” said Chamber tourism and events coordinator Angie Pedersen.
